The 2027 class is already developing into another strong one in Alabama and a player to keep an eye on is quarterback Cason Myers from Pike Road High School. Already with a handful of offers following a strong freshman season with the Patriots, Myers has continued to get bigger and stronger as he prepares for his second year as a starter.
That was on display over the weekend in Hoover at a 7on7 tournament when he showcased a strong arm and the accuracy that helped him throw for nearly 2,400 yards and 17 touchdowns last season. With a year under his belt, Myers said he feels good about the work he’s put in on and off the field.
“I feel like throughout all of the aspects of the game,” Myers tells Auburn Undercover of what he’s improved on. “I have put on about 20 pounds and that’s a big difference. I have put on a lot of weight. Just my reading skills (defense) and being able to push the ball down the field better, just putting the ball where it needs to be.” (continued…)
