As the Pike Road Patriots prepare for another football season, Head Coach Granger Shook is emphasizing more than wins and losses. The focus for this year’s team centers on three words — grit, sacrifice, and discipline.
Known within the program simply as “GSD,” those principles are being paired with another message Shook wants his players and coaches to embrace: “Connection Over Perfection.”
“Each team is unique, but this team is focused on our goal of GSD — grit, sacrifice, and discipline,” Shook said.
