PIKE ROAD — Kaleb Foster threw a pair of touchdown passes to Brennan Tormey and ran in another to lead the Patriots to their fifth consecutive win with a 40-7 rout of Russell County on Friday.
Pike Road (5-2) improved to 5-0 in 6A Region 2, keeping pace with G.W. Carver for first place in the region. The Patriots will travel to Stanhope Elmore next week for a region game, then to Cramton Bowl in two weeks to decide the region championship.
Foster completed 4 of 6 passes for 84 yards. Anthony Rogers played sparingly for the Patriots, rushing for 67 yards on four carries. D.J. Williams led Pike Road in rushing with 80 yards on 16 carries.
