For Pike Road High School football, spring practice was less about rebuilding and more about reloading.
Following another successful season in 2025, the Pike Road football program entered spring workouts focused on transitioning to the next chapter while maintaining the standards that have been synonymous with Pike Road football.
The Pike Road Patriots have consistently been one of Alabama’s premier programs in Class 6A, regularly competing deep into the postseason. Last season, Pike Road once again found itself among the state’s elite, being region champs, advancing to the quarterfinals before falling to Saraland, finishing just one victory shy of a semifinal appearance.
